Our aim at Walton MK FC is to create an fun, safe and challenging environment in which young people can enjoy their football. We have an obligation to safeguard the welfare of all of our young footballers, be them our pre-school developers all the way through to our U18s superstars.
With this in mind we are careful in selecting volunteers to act as managers, coaches and mentors to our players. All of our managers and coaches are required to undertake a CRB check and to have, or be working towards, a formal coaching qualification. Further details of this approach can be found in Safeguarding Children.
To many parents, the world of youth football can be a little daunting, particularly at the younger age groups. With this in mind we have created some simple tips and advice to help in our Advice for Parents section.
We have also put together some simple advice for our players to help them understand the expectations that we have of them when they our representing the football club. See Advice for Players for more details.
Finally, if you’re interested in helping out at Walton MK FC, whether as a coach, administrator, fundraiser or another capacity that you think would benefit the club, have a look at our Become a Volunteer page and find out how to register your interest.
