We’ll update this story with news of tournament success for our teams this summer.

After finishing as runners up in the Tattenhoe Youth tournament last year, and being so close in eight tournaments the last two years reaching finals and semi finals in all but one (!), Southside U10 Titans deservedly broke the curse and finally won this year’s tournament at Tattenhoe. They qualified as group winners, without losing a game, and went on to win the final 1-0. A great effort by all and very happy boys all round.

The boys won the Towcester tournament for the second year on the trot. They finished top of their group unbeaten and only conceded two goals all day. The final was a tense affair, finishing 0-0, but the boys held their nerve and won the penalty shoot-out. A great effort from all involved.

U11s Power followed up their Towcester success with a narrow 1-0 defeat in the final of the MK Gallacticos tournament. In hot and draining conditions they lost to FFA of Northampton through a last minute penalty. Heartbreaking stuff but the boys battled hard as ever.

However, a week later U11s Power followed by winning the Newport Pagnell tournament. The boys, pictured above, who didn’t concede a goal all day, won 1-0 in the final in a hard fought match against our old friends City Colts Sharks.

Raiders made the final of the 2017 Aylesbury tournament but were defeated 1-0 by Wendover. A gallant effort from the squad and they can be very proud of their runners up position.
